Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on SCP Unity. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

    • Treat all forum members respectfully.Any abuse, harassment, impersonation, bullying, hazing, ridiculing, racism, etc. will not be toleratedand will be dealt with accordingly. This extends to inappropriate imagery and any NSFW content. In short, keep it clean and keep it civil.
    #
    • Absolutely no illegal activity is allowed. Do not post illegal downloads or torrents. Do not hack. If appropriate, illegal activity will be reported to local authorities.
    #
    • Do not attempt to circumnavigate bans in any way.Attempts at creating new accounts to hacking the forums to bypass a ban will result in either a prolonged ban period or even a permanent ban.
    #
    • Refrain from passing on messages from banned members if said messages break our respect policy. All users involved will be issued appropriate penalties for violating this rule.
    #
    • Please refrain from spamming, double posting, or submitting advertising posts. These clog up the forums and cause them to become disorganized. If you have something you wish to add to the discussion but are the last person to have submitted a response, pleaseuse the edit button in the upper-right corner of your post.Any posts considered spam will be removed.
    #
    • Please keep discussion to the appropriate forums and threads so other members can easily find it.Improperly placed threads will either be moved accordingly or outright deleted. This rule extends to thread derailment, however only if the thread is derailed for a prolonged period of time. I.e. passing off-topic comments are fine but do try to maintain the purpose of the thread.
    #
    • No excessive or uncontrolled swearing. As long as it doesn't break our respect policy and it's not every other word, it's fine to swear.
    #
    • Remember that some members are under the age of 18, sokeep suggestive content under control.
    #
    • Check the bug reports section for recently posted bug reports and known bugs before writing a bug report.Depending on the situation, these can be considered spam, and remember that we have a search function.
    #
    • Keep quotes to the appropriate size.As long as the basic gist of the message is captured, it's enough.
    #
    • Please keep collaboration for the original SCP: Containment Breach on the Blitz3D engine to the game's message board. This project is SCP Unity, so none of the development staff for SCP Blitz3D is here to help. The original SCP:CB message board can be found here
